As a luxury wedding planner based in Harrogate, Yorkshire, I work with couples across the UK and internationally to create refined weddings in some of the most beautiful locations in Britain and Europe.
From intimate countryside celebrations to multi-day destination weddings abroad, every event I plan is carefully designed to reflect the couple at its heart. When I founded Bella Olah Weddings in 2013, my vision was simple: to offer couples a planning experience that feels both beautifully creative and deeply reassuring. A wedding should never feel overwhelming. With the right guidance, it becomes a joyful and inspiring process - one where every detail gradually comes together to create something truly memorable.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with couples from many different walks of life, each with their own story and vision for their celebration. Some dream of elegant countryside weddings here in Yorkshire, while others imagine gathering loved ones for a destination wedding somewhere special in Europe.
What they all share is the desire for a wedding that feels personal, thoughtful, and effortlessly organised.
Before entering the world of weddings, I spent several years working within one of the Big Four professional services firms, advising on strategy and managing complex projects. That experience shaped the way I approach wedding planning today.
Behind every beautiful celebration lies careful coordination, attention to detail, and a calm presence guiding the process.
My role is to bring those elements together - combining creativity with structure - so that you can enjoy your engagement fully, knowing everything is being thoughtfully taken care of.
But beyond the planning itself, what I value most are the relationships formed along the way. Being invited into such an important chapter of someone’s life is something I never take for granted.

That is why my approach to wedding planning is intentionally personal and collaborative. I take time to understand not only your style and aesthetic, but also the atmosphere you wish to create for your guests and the memories you want your celebration to hold.
Over time, many of my couples describe the experience as feeling less like working with a planner and more like having a trusted guide throughout the process. This close relationship allows me to design weddings that feel authentic, effortless, and truly reflective of the people they celebrate.

Creative Vision, Structured Planning
Before founding Bella Olah Weddings in 2013, I spent several years in the corporate world working as business advisor as well as within one of the Big Four professional services firms, where I managed complex projects, advised on innovation and business strategy, and oversaw multimillion-pound portfolios.
While weddings are emotional and creative celebrations, they also require careful organisation behind the scenes. My personal experiences - including years spent as a professional figure skater taught me the grace, discipline, and attention to detail that now shape my approach to wedding planning. My professional background allows me to combine artistic design with strategic planning, ensuring every detail - from supplier coordination to timeline management - is handled with precision and discretion.
For my couples, this means they can relax knowing their wedding is not only beautifully designed, but expertly managed.

A Few Facts About Me
A small glimpse behind the planner’s notebook.
✨ Languages are my love language. I speak Spanish, French, and Hungarian, and I am currently learning Italian - something that makes planning destination weddings across Europe feel wonderfully natural. I’ve always been fascinated by how language connects people and cultures.
☕ Coffee and hot chocolate are essential. You will often find me at Bettys in Harrogate, notebook in hand, sketching ideas for upcoming weddings.
⛸️ Before wedding planning, there was figure skating. I spent many years as a professional figure skater, where I learned the discipline, grace, and creativity that now inspire my work today.
⚡ And yes - I am a Harry Potter fan. So much so that my own wedding at Swinton Estate included a few subtle magical touches.
